I just read a great article on Gay.Com about why guys don't call back. Here's the comment I left in reply :
There are so many reasons a guy doesn't call back. I too, have had those dates that go absolutely perfect and you walk away just knowing you'll hear from this guy again. One day, two days, three days, a week - nothing. Did he fall in a black hole and just simply cease to exist?
It's been my experience that the four main reasons are:
He didn't really have a good time on the date.
He's playing the field and looking for his next BBD (bigger, better deal).
You didn't sleep with him. Some guys are mightily offended if you don't at least show some interest in sleeping with them on the first date. You may also be viewed as a frigid bitch in this situation.
You did sleep with him. He views you as a trick now. The mystery of you is gone. The thrill of the chase is over. While he thought the sex was "okay”, the thought of being with you on a regular basis doesn't appeal to him in the least.
